{"id":19565,"date":"2022-05-26T19:14:43","date_gmt":"2022-05-26T19:14:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/colegiocelta.com.mx\/?p=19565"},"modified":"2022-05-26T19:14:43","modified_gmt":"2022-05-26T19:14:43","slug":"ib-news-june-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/colegiocelta.com.mx\/index.php\/2022\/05\/26\/ib-news-june-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"IB NEWS | June 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Projects in the IB<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Alicia Silva<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The IB projects that students carry out at the school allow them to plan, implement and evaluate their work and the fruits of their efforts; this to the extent that is pertinent for each age, stage and IB program.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/colegiocelta.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/p-intro-1-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19547\" width=\"360\" height=\"240\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In each of these projects the student searches, chooses, discusses, applies, makes mistakes, makes corrections, and rehearses, as a measure in which learning becomes doing. Thus, acquiring and refining skills in which they become increasingly competent, facing challenges that are the daily business of university and work life, using their intellectual capacities of a higher order. In this active learning the student is engaged and confronted with a high standard of international assessment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inquiry is one of the central axes of the IB programs and of the PYP (Primary School Program), MYP (Middle Years Program) and CP (Career Related Program) projects. It is essential to carry out research where asking questions, seeking answers and arriving at conclusions can lead to an idea, an interpretation, or a product. This happens with a very close accompaniment of teaching staff, coordinators, and parents as in the case of the PYP Exhibition and even at a more pre-university level as in the case of the Reflective Project in the CP. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not only the role of the school in the development and progress of these IB Projects is of utmost importance but also the involvement of parents in them.
