Starting the season of athletics competitions, after a long wait for a pandemic and strong preparation, on November 13th, the representative athletics team attended the 5th Master’s Athletics Cup, “Cuna de la Independencia Dolores Hidalgo,” where our students obtained very good results both in the speed and long jump tests:
- Karen Arely – 2nd place in the 100 meter dash with a mark of 15.06
- Jesús Emiliano – 1st place long jump with 5.12 meters
- Filippo – 2nd place long jump with 4.60 meters
- Miguel Emiliano – 3rd place long jump with 4.54 meters
- Mauricio – 6th place long jump with 4.15 meters
Likewise, our teacher from the representative team Pedro Rodríguez, obtained 2nd place in the 100-meter dash test in the 30-34 “Submaster” category.
With these results we kick off the start of the season for our team.

VOLLEYBALL

Last Friday, November 19th, and after more than 2 years of not participating in official or friendly matches, our representative volleyball team faced the CDEVOL academy, a meeting that represented the beginning of these activities for our athletes. On this occasion, the result did not favor us, nevertheless, as in all experiences, there is learning to continue improving in all areas and to be better athletes and people.

Congratulations to our student María Paula, who, on this occasion, participated in the National Pre – Selective Poomsae (Formas) from November 18th to 20th in the city of Puebla; event where she begins the pathway to the World Championship in Korea 2022, in the Cadet category, obtaining her 5th national place in the Poomsae modality.
This result favors participation in the upcoming national events, where María Paula is outlined with goals of reclassification to the World Cup in Korea and National Olympiad 2022.

Similarly, we want to wish our student Baruch good luck, who is preparing for the next «National Short Course Championship 2021», which will take place from December 19th to 22nd in the state of Jalisco.
