Atletismo

On May 14th and 15th our men’s track and field team participated in the XII Autonomy Cup held at the new Olympic Stadium in Queretaro. It is important to mention that this is a national event with high performance athletes, and that all the members of the team who participated improved their marks; also, the men’s 4 x 100 relay team won a silver medal in the U16 category.
The events in which our representative team participated were the following:
- 80, 150, 300 and 600 meters.
- Shot Put.
- Discus throw.
Congratulations to our participating students Diego Correa Junco, Mauricio Padilla Núñez, Filippo Sapuppo Arroyo, Jesús Emiliano Beltrán Cruz, Miguel Emiliano Torres López, Germán Uribe Cedillo, Unai Bozalongo Valiente.
Dance Boars
Last Sunday, May 22nd, our representative Dance Boars team, Senior category, participated in the CNB (National Dance Championship) event held at the Josefa Ortiz de Dominguez Auditorium. Our students were able to obtain a well-deserved first place.
Also, our Aerial Dance students were the ones who opened the event achieving 1st place in “School Show”.

Basketball

On Wednesday, May 4th, a friendly match was held between Plenus and Celta schools in the categories: high school and upper elementary, with the objective of making improvements in our strengths as a team and adjustments in our areas of opportunity to transform them into positive attitudes towards our team for the tournament, in this match we won in the high school category, not obtaining the same results in the upper elementary category.
Achieving an excellent progress of what we work in class, congratulations to our representatives of the sport blast.
Swimming

On May 21st and 22nd, the youth category of our swimming team attended the “Campeonato Estatal curso largo 2022” at the facilities of the Quéretaro 2000 Olympic pool.
They all had an excellent participation obtaining very good results, as a result of their valuable effort in their training.

Volleyball
On Monday, May 9th and Thursday, May 12th, the Celtic School volleyball teams participated in a quadrangular tournament at the PLENUS school, which marked the return to competitive activity after the pandemic. The boys’ team won their only game, while the girls had 2 wins and 2 defeats, in a tournament in which participated besides our school, the representatives of PLENUS, Great Britain and Asuncion.
